What connects both practices is range. I’ve been the attorney structuring the deal, the founder building the company, the executive running the operations, and the coach helping a leader decide what comes next. That’s not a résumé. It’s pattern recognition you don’t get from one seat.

On the decision side, I work with the person carrying the weight. The technical advisors may be strong—lawyers, bankers, board members, operators. But when the inputs are noisy and the next move matters, the bottleneck is usually judgment.

I help people name the trade-offs no one has named, choose deliberately, and stop reopening the decision once it’s made.

This isn’t a long-term advisory retainer. Engagements are confidential, tightly scoped, and built to resolve—not linger. Most clients work with me for one to three months during the window that matters most. A few keep me as a steady thinking partner once the acute moment passes, but the default is: get in, get clear, get moving.

I’m Seth Weiss, founder of BW Grey.

25+ years building, leading, and advising businesses through growth, conflict, transitions, and complex transactions. I hold a J.D. and practiced corporate transactions and securities law. I’m also a certified executive coach.

​

That combination helps me bring rigor and momentum to messy, high-consequence decisions. Clients describe me as calm, clear, and reliable—with a high bar for focus and disciplined follow-through.
